Last night, I went to Red Robin with my cousin. We ate a lot as if there was no tomorrow. And as band rivals, we wished each other luck this year in band. Our first football game of the year is happening this Friday!

I just came back from Tijuana, Mexico a couple of hours ago. It just takes us 3 1/2 hours to drive to the border, except that we park our car in the US & take the shuttle there. This is my first time going to Mexico in general and that place.. Smells like old pee (or sewers according to my friend). It reminds me of Downtown LA (around the fashion district) because it’s basically the same setting.

Something that was mind-blowing was that I saw a zebra-looking donkey. I thought it was a hybrid at first.. Until I went on Google just a bit ago and checked it out. It’s just a Zebra-Painted Donkey. Those men tried “selling” me a snapshot of the zebra-donkey for 10 bucks. I stole a crappy snapshot of it for free. I feel horrid for these zeb-key.

Too bad it wasn’t a Zebroid. Yes, those are actually real. They’re quite nice, too. …But unfortunately, just as annoying as a regular ole donkey. Hmf.

So…the dentists you go to are from here, and they do a much better job? That’s quite strange! Haha. I would expect it to be much worse… I hate the dentist. :( But it really does seem much cheaper – and I haven’t any dental insurance.

I google-d the place, and it seems like a really nice one to visit! I’d like to be there someday.

It looks like a real zebra! Doesn’t the paint come off? :P

Tijuana is definitely not a good part of Mexico. There are such beautiful cities. You’ll visit them sometime. I’m sure.

Glad you got your teeth done! From what I hear, it IS a lot cheaper and better.

As for the zebra/donkey, i feel so so so bad for it! But, it’s not the people’s fault. The people in Mexico are so poor (because the freaken govt steals all the money) that they are left into DESPERATE measures to make ends meet. ): It’s very depressing..

OH! In my science class last year I heard people talking about a ZeDonk…. I guess that’s what it is! :O Poor animal! I’d hate to have my whole body painted into a different animal… if I were a donkey.

My school doesn’t have a football team, sadly. :(

I honestly do try in sports in PE class, I just am 0% athletic. I can only do gymnastics, which I’ve done since I was very young. I usually still end up getting a decent grade in the class because the teacher knows I’m trying…. I just fail. Miserably.

LOLOL a person calls her self a “hoodrat”?! xD That cracks. me. up. Kudos to you for telling her to chillax! :)

Wow welcome back from Mexico … though apparently you went and got back in one day haha. I was surprised until I read you get there in 3 1/2 hours which isn’t so much. Your description makes it sound … dirty. =( One thing I don’t like about New York is that so many parts are dirty. You can literally be in a beautiful place then a nasty next-street!

Haha I wouldn’t know why American dentists would move to Mexico. Maybe for the cheaper housing/rent but they’d make a lot less too? If my parents could find cheaper dentists they would so I don’t really blame you. Now I wonder what my dad does when he’s in LA. Go to Mexico? Lmao.

Isn’t that animal torture???! That poor donkey. =( They’re using it to earn money in a horrible way.

I’m glad that the weather is cooling down, especially this week. I look forward to wearing my Korean clothes. You know, Asian clothes have a lot of layers etc and summer doesn’t really help. Korea summer wasn’t that hot and everywhere had A/C.

I just haven’t applied for any fanlistings yet since I got back and am trying to get myself organized still. Watch in like 2 weeks I’ll have 15 in queue.

Well since it’s my mom’s money I don’t mind too much if I pay for the full textbook. She doesn’t mind either as long as I’m studying hard!

Lol your entries are way short. Nothing wrong with that though I think now I like shorter entries better than longer ones. My long once-in-a-week entries are so boring. :P

Wow how can you make double eyelids with fingers?? A lot of Asians are trying too hard to be Western which is why they’re obsessed with the eyelids. My god there are better things about Westerners to be obsessed with. Don’t ask …

LOL! I’ve never created a fanlisting for a webmaster! But so many people do that! Hmm maybe I should do that for you, if you want lol. Be so interesting!

She got a new iPod cus her younger brother hit her? I should get my brother to hit me again then maybe my mom would buy me a new iPod. LOL. Then I’ll write a book called How To Get Your 21 Year Old Brother to Hit You. Because I think it would require some serious research on provoking. :P

Take careeee!

poor donkey :(

Sometimes inexpensive goods and services are quite good quality.

Nancy replied:
Yup! Never underestimate services based on where they are at. The only reason why everything is “cheaper” is because everything’s tax-free.

Mexico sounds interesting, and as for the teeth cleaning, it sounds like good value!
I hate the dentist, haha. I’ve had loads of teeth out and two fillings :/

Aw, poor thing. :( 10 bucks for a photo? Might as well just sneak one in for free eh.

Take care! xx

Yeah CSUF is pretty close to Disneyland. I actually live in Anaheim. If you ever wanna meet up, I’m down. I swear I’m not a creepy old person! D:

I think they offered you higher because they could tell you’re American. To them, America = money. -__-

Bahahah every time I drive by the fashion district in LA, I’ve always thought, “this is what Mexico would probably look like,” and sure enough, I was right. :)

Why go to Mexico when you can go to the fashion district? ;) Oh right, everything’s cheaper in Mexico, which is definitely true.

My friend goes there to get her glasses prescription filled. I also know a lot of Asian women go drive down there JUST to get their breast implants done, but it is also done cheaper. Isn’t that nutty or what?

Also, WHOA at that donkey! I’m going to call it short for “Debra” (Zebra + Donkey = Debra?). I feel kinda bad for it–I hope whatever they used to color the fur isn’t toxic. :/

Poor ting.

Thank you! I wish I did … I should’ve clarified that I didn’t draw it before more people ask and I keep having to say the same thing, lol. I can’t draw for my life, at least not on the computer.

I agree! I noticed my last entry was 700+ words while this one was only about 250. I’m going to try to blog every other day or something. I’m already proud I’m returning comments so quickly.

OMG so many Asian dishes contain octopus! It’s scary because some are tiny octopuses, squids maybe? And you eat them whole. I always wonder what happens to their internal organs. Creepy. I’d much rather eat “white people food” lmao.

Hahaha I guess so, I didn’t really think Tijuana would be dirty and uncontrolled. I wonder how the hotels or motels are. They usually have some ‘expensive’ hotels in gross places. I have no idea if my dad goes to Mexico or Koreadown or Chinatown or wherever. I never talk to him, like literally never.

That is really creepy! How do the double eyelids stay then? And if that were true how come the Koreans aren’t doing that? Heck lot cheaper than surgery. XD

Lol I’m sure it wouldn’t be Nancy 4 fans. But yeahhh that’s kind of =( to see because either your fans aren’t joining or you have no fans. Hahaha.

You have a good week too!
