Like every other week, this week was a busy one and it went by fast! I didn’t notice I came back from spring break, I guess it’s because my mind is filled with things I have to do and must accomplish. Like any other week, I’m still filling my time with my band duties.. It seems like I’m more committed this year than last year because I’m actually making an effort this time. I am guessing it’s because I’m in my senior year and everything now counts. With that said, graduation is on May 30th as it seems.
The initial “push” that inspired me to join band is.. During my freshmen year, I saw a a few guys wearing the band uniform, making their way across school coming back from taking their senior panorama picture. The uniform looks really nice and I knew then, that’ll be me in a few years doing the same thing. I was already a musician, but not in any official group or anything. And I got myself weaved into band and climb my way to the top. And so- “4″ years later (which was on Thursday), I wore my uniform in pride and took the panorama picture. It was legit because only 3 out of 12 seniors wore the band uniform. I accomplished my dream from Freshmen year, and now you know why I wanted to join band (but not my reason of staying). It’s pretty lame but it’s a unique story.
My weekday concluded with our annual Shakey’s Pizza Fundraiser (which I booked). We all spent almost $80 combined on 3 pizzas with lots of mojos (fries) & fried chicken. As a group, there was just 6 of us and it was already fun. We sat, talked about random things, and watched as I screamed random things at Shakey’s. Most of it was inappropriate because I forgot it’s also a kid-friendly zone… And things like, “FOURSQUARE MAYOR IN THE HOUSE! AMEX DISCOUNT!!” I also dropped by the arcade- but instead of collecting 1000+ tickets, I gathered 200 tickets this time. I suppose it’s because we only spent $5 on tokens instead of $25 like last year. Instead of enjoying ticketed machines, I just went along and raced 3 of my friends on some car racing game. I won 3 out of 4 games- only because “I have a licence”. That’s other people’s excuse..

You’re a busy bee, aren’t you? Haha. Congrats on fulfilling your dream of joining band and everything, though! I would be making more effort cause it’s my last year as well – make every minute count! Are you sad you’ll be finishing soon?
Shakey’s sounds like fun! Haha at the Foursquare Mayor thing – I would totally do that as well. You got game for winning 3/4 games – the others are just rubbish so they need excuses :P
Omg, I wish I had a GradNite D: Sounds like so much fun.
Don’t lose hope on the universities! x

I love reading your updates about being in the band… it’s so fun… I guess because we don’t have those type of things here. Congrats on finally getting to wear that uniform. It’s not a lame reason at all if that was what attracted you… at least you stayed and grew to love it and you had a musical interest ;)
Aaaah, sounds like you had fun eating pizza and just chilling! Ha ha, it’s so fun going to an arcade and playing games – reminds me of when i was a kid :)
Good luck with all your school work!

Nice glittery layout! =)
We think alike.. When I see certain people with something I WANT, I’m usually determined to get it… right then and there.
Have a wonderful week!

That’s amazing! Not many people accomplish their dreams like that and that says a lot about you as a person too.
Sounds like you had fun at the Fundraiser!

It’s not a lame story. My freshmen year was lame; I had no aspirations to join anything, and I basically did nothing that year.
I don’t go to arcades often, but whenever I go to Dave and Buster’s, I always play the basketball games.

Hey you! The new layout is up! Thank you for your kind words on my B! I think last week I may have made an A in the class. Not entirely sure yet as I’m awaiting the results for my grades today. Probably will be getting them, tonight.
Wow, congratulations on winning 3 out of 4 games! When I did that car race with three of my friends, who DOES have their license and I didn’t, I won even though I didn’t have my license. They were a little shocked about that. I bragged lmfao. So having your license or not doesn’t mean that you can win at the game. Even if you don’t have your license it’s all about skill and know how I guess? I’m not sure. I think those things are rigged though.
LOL!!! Inappropriate things are funny especially in a kid-zone. You got caught up in the moment. I do that sometimes too. But it’s okay. As long as you can blame it on someone else, or act all innocent about it lol.
We had a blast at Knott’s Berry Farm. I conquered my fear (I forgot to post this) on heights though I still think I have them. I went on Supreme Scream twice (that one that drops you from 13 or more stories), went on Montezuma’s revenge one time, and I’m proud of my sister and myself for going on it but mainly her as she’s only 10, and she tried it. She had a bit of a shock, as did I, but not as bad as she did. We also went on revolucion. That thing was freaking fun! It seems like you’re going to go upside down but it doesn’t because it can’t handle all the weight. But it does turn when you’re partially upside down looking face down into the ground. We also challenged two cowboys, and I got them to get off my train lmfao. We have those inflatable hammers, and we used them on the cowboys. I won the first round, but the other guy won the second. lol. Than when we went on the train a second time, they came on and we showed them our hammers and they’re like “We gotta get a hammer next time!” and I yelled “Get off MY train!!” one cowboy goes “Excuse me? YOUR TRAIN?!” I go “Yeah MY train, NOW get off!!” lol. He’s like okay, and we hit them with our hammers. When leaving the park we bumped into them again, and we got a little souvenir from them. A cop bullet that they use in their stunt show that we didn’t have a chance in seeing. But overall; it was really fun. I’m glad you guys had a fun time at Shakey’s Pizza.
You always study harder in your senior year. Mainly because like you’ve stated it counts this time. The other years are just kind of like fly byes. Senior year is the most important, as that’s the year you graduate from high school. Good luck, and I wish I could see you graduate!!

Sounds like you guys had a really good time at Shakey’s. I love those arcade places..don’t you always get really competitive about winning? It always gets really intense…haha!
I hope you get everything done. You seem extremely busy at the moment~
