Spring break, spring break, spring break.. My spring break so far is fabulous, considering how I manage to avoid anything related to school this entire week. Either way, I have to face my homework some time later. At least I only have homework for 3 classes; AP Literature, Government & Statistics. I probably forgot everything I learned from those classes by now. It’s something 6 hours can fix.

This entire week was spent going to several different malls with friends I usually don’t hang out with. There wasn’t really any motives behind going to these malls. It’s more of a “Now that I have time, let’s find out what these shops sell!” Despite going through so many shops, I haven’t been in the mood for shopping these days. I already made my priorities set because all I’m asking for is to go to GradNite and to have my own MacBook Pro…. And possibly for a clarinet as well (which I have no use for). But instead of all of that, my parents somehow agreed into getting me an iPad. The only upside to that for me is… I can finally play Words With Friends on the big screen!

For a little over a year, I started collecting bracelets here and there. Eventually, I started making bracelets out of pony beads, which is referred to as Kandi. I don’t really have a pattern-trend to follow, I just go with whatever my mind wants.. And it’s really random!

Aside from all of that, I finally added more content to the site! I made a tutorial on How to Install WordPress from Scratch and an ‘opinion article’ about Starting a Website. — Only because it’s spring break!

I think it sucks when teachers assign stuff over a break! I never did like that.

Sounds like you are having a wonderful break. I miss having regular breaks. I am doing my masters online and getting breaks from an online school does not feel the same as a break from a real school.

Wait, you have homework to do during Spring Break? Aghhhhh the horror! Hehe jk, you sound like a really good student, I think any (Asian) parent would be lucky to have you as their daughter. Lol

Yeah, I have no interest in shopping for clothes anymore. I’m glad though, because I can save a little bit more money for things that matter..

Your bracelets are awesome! They remind me of the days when being a “raver” would be totally “in”. I think ravers–if they even still exist–would appreciate the colorful collection of bracelets :D

Oooh, those bracelets are really nice! Lovely colours! I really love bracelets, I might start making some!

I hope you had fun with your friends at the mall! Sometimes you don’t need a reason to go to the shops, it’s just nice to be out with people and look at pretty things! I want to go to a big shopping centre now!

Hope you enjoy the rest of your break!

Are you making the bracelets from the beads of the bracelets you have already collected? or you brought some new beads or something?
Good luck with the assignments!

Yaay, I’m on Spring break too! Glad you’re having fun. It’s always nice when you finally have time to go out even if there is no reason behind it :)

What’s GradNite? Despite you not getting what you wanted – you’re getting an iPad! Woooow – so jealous. My friend has an iPad and I’m always playing on it. It’s so much fun! I don’t feel the need for at the moment, though, because I have my Macbook. I really want a Pro… ._.

Ah, yes! I saw the beads you got that you posted on Instagram! There were a lot of beads :P The bracelets look really cool – I want to make some now!

How’s the university application process going?

I hate it when teachers assign homework over spring break. I was really grateful this year that my teachers didn’t do that, because it really defeats the whole purpose of a ‘break’. If you’re doing work – it’s not really a break! Silly teachers.

It seems like you had a somewhat relaxing break with your friends, which is great. :) What is GradNite? It sounds like something really similar to what we have at our school called Operation Graduation. It’s basically a graduation lock-in for the seniors that graduated. Everyone always says they’re super fun – and it’s free, so I’m super excited for it! Next to graduating, that is, haha. :)

The beginning of my spring break was spent cramming homework in while the rest was LA FUN! At least I wasn’t doing homework on Sunday night like the last 12 years of my life. Not that I had spring break homework in elementary school but I was exagerrating haha.

Everyone seems to be getting iPads! Are they really so good … not that I can afford. Still haven’t replaced my iPod Touch and that’s $200.

Is that your bracelet collection or do you wear them? I saw this woman with that many bracelets and I was like … O.O. COllecting doesn’t mean you have to wear them all at the same time does it.

I have no idea where I went in LA haha I lost my sense of direction. Either way it was wonderful!

Lol I should probably write a more detailed article if I have time. Lots and lots more to cover.

Korean boys have perfect skin without photoshop. They photoshop it for the shine or something. And they shave facial hair, not because they don’t have facial hair in the first place. I think they think it’s frowned upon or something.

Oh god I hate guys who wear baggy pants. I’m not sure if Korean guys are heavily influenced by females haha! I mean I’ve never met a Korean guy from Korea who’s had bad fashion I guess it’s just something you learn from your community when you’re there. My brother used to dress like an average American kid and when he moved to Korea, well now he looks like anyone else in Korea.

Korean guys do think about hot and sexy too. Just that the ones who do aren’t considered angelic by fangirls. There are a few boy groups in k-pop known for their manliness and they definitely are not angelic.

At least you get a spring break. I haven’t even gotten one. Unless you call my leave of absence from school one? lol.

Hmmm, you’re right Starbucks is addicting! I tried it out with out having coffee, and I’m craving for the coffee. But I know if I have it, I will have a terrible migraine later. I do not want to go through that again. It was horrible. Everything I wanted to eat, I had to wait until the upset stomach feeling that I wanted to throw up had to pass and than I could eat. If I forced myself to eat while being upset, I’d get more upset. I think I may have ulcers, but not entirely sure as for the mere fact, that I have been stressed out worrying about my health issues and what not. And trying to get this stupid ultrasound appointment made as well; as the Weight Watchers vouchers.

Anyhow, yup. It should arrive on the 13th of this month. That’s what the email told me anyway. So I’m hoping to have it by the time I meet my “boyfriend” in person. So yeah, my ‘dad’ gets his vacation tomorrow, and we’re going to Knott’s Berry Farm on Saturday :). Can’t wait. Heehee. Have fun on your spring break!!

I just read the first paragraph and for a second had a panic that I forgot to do an essay or assignment for a class. But then I remembered that I haven’t been in school for three years. That was very strange haha.

I’m glad you are enjoying your break!

I hadn’t been to the mall in ages but when some friends came to visit we went and I’m so ready to start shopping again myself. But there was no way I was going to be able to avoid school work this spring break and I knew it so I’ve been trying to juggle fun and work at the same time.

Congrats on the iPad. Although I can see how a MacBook Pro would have been cooler. :)

Nice bracelets, some of those look really advanced. I’m sure you show them off fabulously.

I remember that when I was in the middle of my exams, I mainly survived by day-dreaming of all the things I’d do once my summer/spring break started. It turned out, daydreaming was better than the reality. I am basically bored and have nothing to do, unless I sit in front of the computer the entire day, which my parents won’t let me. I am reading a lot though, which is a good thing.

These bracelets look very pretty. :) I am not much of a jewelry person, but it looks fun. :)

I am going to check out your opinion article now.

P.S. Do you remember me? I used to run shriyagarg.net before I had to move domains.
